it's time to let go
but she's so torn apart
it's the only way to maintain
what little sanity she has left
just a little longer
maybe the pain will go away
but she can only hold on so long
before the ground crumbles
beneath her and all is lost
and all would be lost
she knows this now
it has been her greatest fear
so it's time to let go
just a little longer
and she promises to leave
try to forget the past
hold on to today
be a good woman
let her heart go
let you live your life
just give her a little more time
and she'll go
