fate

she has dreams from her childhood that are never forgotten
and the fears that surround them that won't go away
remained in the shadows waiting for a moment
a moment she knew nothing about
wanting to sing lead, but settles for backup
she finds comfort in her isolation, too frightened to shout and be heard
competition makes her nauseous
unsatisfied, she gives herself to anyone, doesn't matter
an act of revenge to the emptiness held in her heart
how easy it is to keep secrets, and she never mourns
in time she finds a different life, immerses, forgets her past
and her childhood dreams and the fears that surround them
years pass and slowly the emptiness returns
she accepts her fate, others suffer the like and worse
then one day the truth hits her, like a piano falling from the third story floor
falls to her knees and begs forgivness
she looks up at the stars and smiles
and love is knocking at her door
a snowflake falls in May

    You express your disapointment beautifully.
I have struggled with similiar thoughts for most of my life.
As I'm sure you realize, relief from them must come from within.
I sincerly hope you find this relief.
    Its there.
"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"

When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.

that's a hard bridge to cross. i would think it takes a lifetime to get to the other side. i am not so bold as to say that i have arrived there yet.
