I see the palace, and my shell wants to crumble
I am one of many who don that bag of identification
Fires are alive at the front, not to guard, but to notify
Choosing to tell me what impending doom may be
The morning is dark, the glow arises and disintigrates

I find my fear within this castle
I find my death within this castle
I must wear a mask, so they do not know who I am
So they are not able to track my every step

I will not become an ally. I must become the foe.
If the insane foe, so be it. My mind is my ally.
I will lose myself to vanquish this place.
I will turn away, and declare myself lost
To have the option to flee.

This palace does not know me well.

I will scream until I am severed, I will cry until I am noticed
For I must escape the place I do loathe

PANIC!! PANIC!! PANIC!!

This is not what I had hoped for...

I will escape, but in terror
The palace has shattered my psyche
