need to sleep

would you take me with you,
would you, if you could?

... i knew you couldn't

i'm tired of my days
i'm tired of waiting
i'm tired of writing these stupid words

there's no place to hide
there's no place to run

i need to sleep
sleep until i see something again
until this world is a better place
which is never going to happen
unless i dream about it
