Heading downtown on the A
wasting time, wasting space
The look of failure everywhere,
on every wretched face
Spring is now upon us,
but no one seems to care
Desperate tension all around
I can feel it in the air
Many faces, Many names
all of them unknown
This city is a fucking cesspool
that I choose to call my home
I feel I want to shout it out
but don't bother to try
The last thing that this P.M rush needs
is one more crazy guy
So, I sit and scribble nonsense
I don't even call a poem
And take solace in this isolation
though I'm clearly not alone
I know someone is out there
and they understand it clear
Disconnection is a way of life,
at least when your living here.
"Stunned by my own reflection, It's looking back, sees me too clearly and I swore I'd never go there again, Not unlike a friend that politely drags you down, down, down"

When you see me on the street, yell out "FAVO!!!"

I've been to alot of Pearl Jam shows; So fucking what.

You've captured the feeling of apathy and claustrophobia that winter in Manhattan can bring on, just perfectly.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

And don't get me wrong, I love NYC, but sitting on the train today in those moments, it was exactly how I felt.
