I'm the can of cola kicked down the street
I'm the cat that sat beside your feet
I'm the mud that stole your football stud
I'm the dead man's pool of dried out blood

I'm the wind that swept your hair around
I'm the bird that made that lovely sound
I'm the tree that bore the sweetest fruit
I'm the herb you grew from just a shoot

I'm the ice that made you slip that night
I'm the one who stole that lovely light
I'm the minotaur who cried for you
I'm the sole that's left inside your shoe.

All these things and I was there
But now I'm gone

And you don't care

I'm a fear in every man
I'm the one. YES I AM.
Feel my power in your soul
I am one, I am whole

You're the icing on the cake
You're my heart and you're its break
You're the light in a darkened room
You're the coffin, you're my tomb

For all my glory and my power
    Every minute like an hour
Tormenting me, the thought of you
The thought of one so fair and true.

You cast me out and struck me down
You tore from me my silver crown
And all it took was one small sound
And then you had me tied and bound.

The moral of this is quite plain
That if you ever try to gain
A love from one who loves you not
Be wary, 'fore your heart is shot.
