Beloved ? Betrayed !

Borrowed truth
Burdens me.

Bent beneath its
Broken silence.

Brought forth -
But blindfolded,
Before my beckoning beheader -
Who has beguiled from the beginning.

With a love that is bane,
And a blistering tongue.
Bittersweet blame,
Till the burying's done.
If I had known then...what I know now...

You write the words I wish to speak
Yet lame is my tongue, too lame it is
and so the truth flows in my tears
only to leave a salty taste on my petrified lips
    They shake in silence
    But want to scream
So their words sit silently in my stomach
    blistering, festering
    aggravating the agony
And I am stricken with sorrow

    Very good poem Heather Evers
Some words when spoken, can't be taken back
but in writing they are our very own and in our grasp
I'd love to be able to speak out loud, but sometimes you cannot

that aside, do you write songs too?
Surf little waves big... Charge big waves hard
