very 80's in a way, the chorus that is

LOVE the studio version, not too fond of live versions, eddie switches up/forgets the words and sings it in a crappy way

on the recording he sounds kinda sleepy too, but it works

also the guitars are so crisp on the recording, yet sound like a big mush of noise live....hard to have 3 guitars and not have that happen

whenever i listen to it, i have to rewind "well i guess there's nothing wrong with what you say" like 10 times, its just that good.....if anyone was in the car with me they'd kill me

always shocked to hear people on here say they don't like this song

I think it's a great song in studio... live version is a bit muddy if you ask me... still good, but not quite as polished as the studio version... I think it's the tone maybe? But I am no musician so don't ask/listen to me :)

I love Green Disease. The chord progression and vocal melody are excellent.

I like Matt singing Get Right... Personally I think Thumbing My Way is the worst off of that record.

I love Get Right. It's really catchy and puts you in a good mood. Well, puts me in one anyway.

Well, we obviously have a different opinion, but mine happens to be correct :)

They paired down the guitars on the 2006 live versions for sure, but I am VERY fond of the East Troy 2003 version. Early in the set and it sounds HUGE, which I thought sounded better than 2006. One of my favorite songs.

Got to hear this song twice live, and I just think it's a song that translates very well live, and it has a fantastic message. One of the better songs on Riot Act definitely.

I don't know about catchiest EVER ... but it definitely is the best song ever written about Enron.

Anyway, as a guy who cares more about lyrics than anything else, I'm a big fan of this one. Same with Thumbing my Way ...

As for Ghost ... well, this thread is about Ed songs. Ed didn't write that one, Jeff did, although I seem to recall maybe he contributed a lyric or two.

I guess it was kept as a staple when many RA tracks live anyway were canned for 05/06 tours... very poppy and I love it. They should keep playing it live.

Ghost, Green Disease, and Get Right are easily three of the worst songs in the Pearl Jam catalog. Ghost is the best of the three of them.

    My opinion, that's all.
