Twisted visions of lucid insight,
Follow me 'round all day and night.
Sordid fists hold me so tight,
They close my eyes off to the light.
Fighting for freedom all of the time,
Jotting down constantly this crooked ryhme.
From jagged faces, away I will climb,
Beneath my pyche is where I bury the crime.
Shattered words shake the mind,
In putrid flesh the soul is lined.
Once the sun so boldly shined,
Now it's as if I'd been born blind.
Why has all of this followed me?
In the baring of teeth; reflections I see?
Seeking the things that will set me free,
Praying my mind could let me be.
Clench my fists; mud and mire,
Walk that thin line; trip the wire.
Preaching from soapboxes; filthy liar!
Sanity, hatred can never sire.
So here I'll lay and cry alone,
Social creeds; hate, pain condone.
Sharpened talons; my words I hone,
Never a day of peace I've known.
