desires

a man sees love before his time
or so it would seem
the future reaches forward
to deny this desire
twisting out of reach
caught in an updraft of fear
swept out of existence

never again to align with the fire of love

when hope will not survive
a dream cannot be feared
this desire is too strong to break
under the weight of his burden
forever alone will he reside
alone with his desire

never again to align with the fire of love
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.

For me that fire burns too hot, not going to burn again. I'll end up alone like I began.

    Good writing, thanks.
Come on and play on the edge of life with me. Its fun and I love every minute of it!!!
