A Poem for once

Broken flowers fold
in discreet blooming cycles
their scent comes alive
thrives inside a mind
as fragile as a child's
a mind that can't conceive
that beauty lies within
that the scent of death hides the wisdom of it's work
that the heavens don't move, the wind doesn't blow, the flowers will never grow
for love alone.
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

    "Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
    sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
    no more forever."

  • I have no idea, friend. That one came from nowhere.
