we're standing back to back
eyes to the sky
even as our arms lay aside
we're marked for life
as though there were no greater crime

when the severed are blind
you will be scared by the sound of the time
as forever goes by
as our synergy dies
you will be bound by direction and time
as forever goes by

they're comin' side by side
aided by fate
throw your arms aside
we're marked for life
as though there were no greater crime

all our eyes explain why
with the fear and expressionless smiles
and forever feels right
as our synergy dies
we are found to be honest in time
as forever goes by
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."
