imagine repair

I was blank as the page that was in front of me
when she said to me
take your time now don't rush life and be free
I fell in love with a girl I thought, she's my destiny
then she said to me
you're alright stay the night in the morning we'll run

but she ran, alone, ahead of me
like I always thought she would
she didn't even say goodbye to me
well just what did I expect I'm only me

in my heart I decide that's it's best for me
just to set her free
if she returns then forever we will be together
(but she won't come back)
when I finally realised how much she meant to me
thats when I said to me
it's too bad she was born inside your head
(because you made her)

and she ran from home without me
like I always knew she would
she won't even stop to say she's sorry
love's so hard to regret when you're not real
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."
