I've had a bad week,
you see
friends are dying all around me
passing through my dreams like waves
I hear them all
I hear them say

you no longer love the way you should
it's as though your heart has turned to wood
what was once a living thing
is dying now, painful sting

I'm hard to define,
you see
friends are friends ~ they question me
visiting me insinde my dreams
I hear them call
I hear them plead

let your love go free for now
preserve that love the day it is found
make sure you love the way you should
it's as though your heart were turned to wood
what was once a living thing
is dead inside, content within

they worry 'bout the things I say
trade my feeling guilt for shame
voices of dead friends
comfort me in my room
I hear them call
I hear them say
you'll be here with us soon...
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.
