pull on your uniformity
and state your name
mixed up with our conformity
don't take the blame
cast off your dilemna or face
being just like us
but who knows? just maybe...
we're the only ones you can trust

oh... he gets looked after
oh so right
each and every single night

call off your false identity
and face the truth
you don't believe in destiny
and why should you?
reach up to take the last
bottle from the shelf
drink it down, wipe your frown
your eyes betray you well

he's repeating
lord mistreat him
one could define
the face of his time

    I'd like to hear the music that goes with this. How does it sound? Riff-based, or making use of a chordal progression?

    It's interesting to try and guess what music is intended to go with song lyrics, when the words are presented on their own, on a page!

    Thanks all.

    Sorry about before m&m, I've never handled unconstructive criticism well. The banning was supposed to be an honour system type thing... I didn't really think it through. I hereby lift the non-existent ban. (I was not in a good mood last night, I had a really long and exhausting day at work)

    I actually haven't thought up a proper tune for this one, and my guitar playing sucks, (I'm better at singing) so... hey, feel free to chuck some chords or whatever to what I write and make up your own tune. If you record and post them, I'd absolutely love to hear what other people feel when they read these.
