When things are right
I remember why I'm here.
I remember my purpose.
Never give me those days
When I was searching.
I never want to lose this
Because my sight has returned.
Like the eye of the storm,
My calm is everlasting.
All I know is that to see, and not to speak, would be the great betrayal.

  • sigh... i wish I could see through the storm.
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.
  • I suppose my character is happy just being in the calm. He doesn't necessarily need to see through the winds, though maybe that just denotes how feckless he can be! :) I guess maybe he was caught in the hurricane and is just glad to be in a peaceful place, however temporary it may be.

Maybe if he attempted to see through the storm, he would have a bit more direction!
