I loved Touring Band DVD when it first came out, although was a little unhappy that none of the European tour was included.......The version of Given To Fly is particularly amazing as there is a girl standing on side of stage signing all the words to the songs....what an amazing idea, using sign language to open up the words of the song....it inspired me so much that I wrote a song about it and i thought i would share my lyrics with fellow pearl jam fans....The recorded version of the song is on my myspace so have a listen if you like the lyrics. http://www.myspace.com/joewalshdc

"What The Song Looks Like" by Joe Walsh dc

'Given to Fly' is what is,
shaking up all these thoughts of,
the beauty of watching a song unfold,

Her hands portray the meaning,
the feeling of the story told,
these hands pull down and break the boundaries,
and open up its soul.....
so maybe we will find...what the song looks like.

The side of the stage is opened,
we can all watch the lights fall,
each wave of emotion the drum roll's on,

Listened, signed, unspoken,
words taken in unheard,
enlightenment of the silence, opens up the words,
maybe we will find....what the song looks like.

Gestures flow through fingertips,
Ignited emotions fuel it,
Senses touch to make us high,
Her hands were given to make her fly.

Thanks for reading. Thanks Ed for the inspiration.
If anybody knows any way of finding out who the girl was signing the lyrics, i would love to know.
Peace and Love.
