for me to say
that i'll go
'twould utterly deny
that small spark
lives inside hoping
that i'm right

you're the reason
for everything
the great and mighty
the tiny flex
of an eyebrow's muscle
telling you
what i fear the most

how you know me
i cannot disclaim
that which i have seen
nor dismiss
the embers of care
care despite me
and my back
and my absence

far be it
for me
to forget you
or what you mean
to me

awesome..far be it for me to, um..no witty humor i can think up..
wish someone would write me a poem like this..
for poetry through the ceiling. ISBN: 1 4241 8840 7

    "Hear me, my chiefs!
I am tired; my heart is
    sick and sad. From where
the sun stands I will fight
    no more forever."

    wonderful writing. :)
Down the street you can hear her scream youre a disgrace
As she slams the door in his drunken face
    And now he stands outside
And all the neighbours start to gossip and drool
He cries oh, girl you must be mad,
What happened to the sweet love you and me had?
Against the door he leans and starts a scene,
And his tears fall and burn the garden green
