    Okay, okay, not really.

I'm playing another STREAMING ONLINE GIG!!!! Tomorrow, at 3pm GMT. (That's 7am in Seattle, 8am in Montana, and 10am in NYC.)

I'm playing on http://www.virtualgig.co.uk. You can sign up for free, to watch the gig, but make sure you've got the latest codecs for your media player. The gig will be archived right afterwards, for you to watch whenever you like!

I did a gig back in August, but this latest gig will be nearly twice the length (plus with new songs, which I'm looking forward to screwing up!). I'll be recording a jukebox track of my song "Westgate to the Grey", too, for my myspace music page. (See here: http://www.myspace.com/finsburytunes .) The August gig is archived under acoustic acts.

I'll have a beard too, for the gig, but not for long, because tomorrow night I'm having the thing shaved off, for charity!

I broke a string! The one string I don't have a spare for! So I took another one of its kind from another acoustic, tied it to a section of the broken string, fed it through the hole at the headstock, and voila! it works, for now. But I will buy a new set, as soon as I hit London! :)

Well, on a twelve-string, you can negotiate the wonkdom factor on one string. Wonkdom. I shall patent that word. :D

Great word - wonkdom. Sounds like something Willie Wonka might say.:)

I mean, what's the worst that could happen? I could spontaneously combust in front of the cameras, I suppose. But even then, that'd be, yuh know, kinda cool.

Sweetie, I'll be busy with my own thing tomorrow, but I'm certainly watching it as soon as it's archived.

    Good luck! :)

So, let me make sure I've got this straight .... if I wake up by 10 tomorrow morning, I get to watch a pregnant Fins burst into flames on the internet?

    Thanks!

I had another "gig" tonight, back in Cambridge. A sponsored beard shave, for the Marie Curie fund. I'm now completely clean shaven! I made about £200 ( about $400).

    What an amazing day!

I love you lot, you know. :)

A very incredible performance. I think I had heard about two or three songs from Finsbury in the past, and I must say the man has taken the troubadour and his guitar onward and upward. Richard, your voice sounds better, the guitar sounds better, the showmanship was right on...the performance in and of itself achieved a quality I can't entirely describe. Transcendental, I think. Very nicely done. I'm going to go watch and listen another time.
