Inside there is an unknown feeling
Crawling through anything I touch
Making everything turn to blood
Or is it just me?

Outside there is an endless darkness
Shadows, shadows, everywhere
Coming to bring pain
Or is it just me?

In between there’s a glimmer of light
So small, I can’t even find it
But I know that this is not just me
It’s you, leaving just a memory
I don't want to be the fool that's behind me but I am...

    That "glimmer of light" seems so hopeful amidst the shadows. I like this, marker_in_the_sand. :)
