People That Inspire Me : Ed Vedder

This could sound a little sad, but I have recently been asked to perform a speech [as part of my English GSCE] on someone who inspires me. I feel a little left out as most of my class are picking people like Martin Luther King. I chose Eddie Vedder =]
I find him amazing, and I just want to share with my class, or anyone listening, on the great things Ed and Pearl Jam have done.
Ed does inspire me greatly, from my band to who I am as a person.
Does anyone feel the same?

There are PJ songs/lyrics that inspire me to write my own poetry. I think Eddie wrote most of those songs, so yes, he does inspire me. I think PJ as a band is very inspiring because they have the courage to back their convictions with action. Besides the incredible, I mean InCrEdIbLe concerts.
