Hi all

New to this forum
So I just thought I'd throw up a link to my own bands webpage. Pearl Jam would be one of my major influences and I thought that you might like a listen.

Let us know what you think

Hope this is cool here - coz it's not on some forums, but it says personal music links at the top

Cheers

Tom Waits fan, are we? ;)

I listened to Butterfly, it's really cool. If you're giggin in Dublin, PM me, I'll see if I can check you guys out live...
Smokey Robinson constantly looks like he's trying to act natural after being accused of farting.

I see the Crawdaddy listing, and I know it's supposed to be all right. How do you find it as a venue to play in? I'll be over in Dublin next month, and I was tempted to check out the place.

Have you a myspace music page? :)

Cheers for all the comments guys. Nice one.

We are from Dublin and our myspace page is http://www.myspace.com/burmashade

And next gig is Crawdaddy on Sat 26th of August

Crawdaddy is alright to play - quite small, not one of my favorite venues, but we've only played there once before so it might have been just that night.

If had a favoriite in dublin it would have to be the TBMC, Whelans or The Sugar Club.

And yes were all big Tom Waits fans. And your the first person (surprisingly) to get the reference I think. Bloody philistines over here :-)

I'll send you an add request (It'll be from Richard McGuire), and I'll keep listening. I like what I hear! Cheers.

Cool, I'll try and make the show. Maybe throw in a Waits cover - educate the masses? Although from what I've heard of your singer, she may have a hard time imitating him (well, as hard as anyone who hasn't smoked enough cigarettes to cover the entire continent of Asia :D)

Yeah it'll be a bit hard alright.

At the mo were working on a track with this man http://www.myspace.com/elderroche called "Dark Place"

It's a really Tom Waits sounding track with Elder on lead vox. Were hopng to record in the next few weeks. Loadsa Marc Ribot style guitar in it.
    Should be good

    Oh FinsburyParkCarrots
