where has this song been all my life?!?!? its played live so seldomly i never heard it live until recently, but WOW! I think it may be my favorite live song they play. Mike is INSANE on this song.

    There's also like an 8 minute version with a cool jam on the end from the Japan 03 tour. I'm not quite sure about the specifics of that version.

    i dont know if its the BEST version but, the one from the vancouver 05 show is the first time i hadd EVER felt what i felt at a show. From beginning to end of immortality that night, i hadd full body chills and i was like really moved. The way The Master just played so perfectly with his head back and freakin FEELIN it. that version gets me TOTALLY. the crowd, the way the boys were on stage....everything.

    off the top of my head, i'm thinking nagoya. the one where they have a 6 minute jam/improv right before it, right? damn, all those japan shows are unreal. they are are favorites of mine, some of the best of the tour, easily.

    that was played shortly after it was written, also right after kurt died. the lyrics are about him.

    Nagoya is right. I was at that show and it was great! Definitely one of my favorite moments of the Japan tour. I so wish they would release a DVD of one or all of these shows- they were such great shows!
