Rope

I bagged and tied
the tongues inside.
They burn and sting
everything.

I love this rope
hard as dope,
the thinnest thread
inside my head.

    Oh, Saturnal! I wish I was a better artist because the visual I just got from this was powerful. I imagined this screaming mouth bursting from this plastic bag with a tongue of thorns protruding out, kinda serpent-like, and wrapping itself around it's own neck... :D I watch too many scary movies.

    I like the rhymes and how it got into my head and gave me that "slap in the face" visual. :)

    Thanks for reading, but more importantly..for participating. That's a cool visual, and the tongue of thorns actually makes sense in a way. It can act like a rope that you can hang on to for survival, but it almost hurts too much to use it.
