Holey Ghost

I'm new here but I have lurked for a little while and have enjoyed the very creative poetry here. I like to write poetry too, and rather than just reposting poetry that was inspired elsewhere I'd love to interact people here to write poetry, together.

as bad as it can sometimes be
the human spirit, a limitless pond

diving deep, breath after breath
i feel life on my skin

The rush of blood to the head
when we meld spirit-to-spirit
with rose metals draping our heavenly bed
mind to mind
body to body
when she is wrapped up in mine
skin-to-skin
