I felt the wind against my face
the coldness of air
the moon so low i could see it smile.
Music to my ears
from a voice we both know.
Four months of time
between the uncle and the son.
I felt you
your hand on my leg
as he played the songs we both loved
a smile cross your face
as that music made your heart sing.
Our eyes locked and forever
in that moment.... I felt you.
Driving alone the distance home
knowing i'd sleep in an empty bed
it was okay 'cause... I felt you.
There are times when things i remember
make me smile almost as much as you did.
I can't help but think of you...
do you think of me, or am I that easily forgotten
