Sleep on, Brother

Sleep on, sleep on, sleep on,
my brother
Sleep through this day
but tomorrow’s another

I wish in between
we could say what we mean
Get honest with each other
though it might hurt, my brother

Why we go through the night
avoiding a fight?
Let’s talk when it’s right
When there’s no one in sight

Don’t take it to work
Don’t take it to friends
Don’t take it to family
Don’t rewrite the memories

Why bring up those times
when we both did our crimes?
We put it behind us
why put it beside us?

We can’t take it back
we can’t get it back
And before long we’re noticing
what we both lack

It's love, baby, love
Oh we’re losing it fast

If you sleep on it, brother,
I could end up your past
Feels Good Inc.

sounds like you and your brother
    should have a sit down.

and it is the truth what you write.
