As good as this feels to me, to be home,
there’s still a restlessness in my soul

I yearn to be free of any ties that bind
but can only go wandering in my mind

I believe I have gypsy blood in my heart
(the excuse I use whenever I depart)

But somewhere hidden in the back of my mind
is something lost that I need to find

I’ve sought it elsewhere in far-off lands
I thought I held it once in my hands

It’s elusive like the name of a childhood friend
but with you, this time, I feel that I’ll know it again
