Blue

When I think of you
I see the color blue
the bottomless depths of the ocean
the piercing blue of your eyes
a cheery, cloudless summer sky

When I think of you
I turn the color of crimson
the fiery shade of passion
blushing with modesty and pleasure
remembering your lips on my skin

When I think of you
I drown in sweet lavender
and lie wrapped in deep purple
the color of kings, my king

When I think of you
I see a golden burnished sun
a future bright with promise
and perfect love, everlasting
