Tales of kings and fallen gods
have long been passed from mouth to ear
Of blood, been shed by means of tears
immortals cannot kill our will to live
The time has come to rise above

A schizophrenic god’s betrayal
lies pinned upon the sleeves of a king
command to worship, bow before
his eye are frozen, his body’s numb
and he just wants to see her crawl

He stands checkmate in the game of love
and cries lost tears for freedom’s sake
rides to battle with flags and shields
yet he fights his battles all alone
another life, taken for granted

where idols are false
