the library of souls
books beginning and ending
scaring and mending

the shelves are not yet full
though they warp and pull
with the wieght of wool

dust embalms, the ink sows
pages coarse with vertigo
repeating grooves warm and low

then a breeze
some loved some siezed
when the winds stop
they all fall like leaves

the librarian brings order
a devision between fact and fiction
but the readers don't listen
nor find wisdom

the freedom of choice
of following a voice
in the wilderness of wood and steel
only some books make you feel

    This one is good!
    &&&&&&&&&&&&&&
  • My favorite lines: dust embalms, the ink sows
    Pages coarse with vertigo
    repeating grooves warm and low

What a tactile ending... In the wilderness of wood and steel
Only some books may you feel

    Brilliant !
Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's Soul remains Unawakened.

  • Good... Good...

May I ask is this a first draft etc, or final copy? Or are you just tinkering with this so far?
"this one, anytime I say love if you wanna say love, uh, say it, and if you say it you might as well say it loud, and if you don't feel like sayin' it, don't say it, but if you feel it, certainly say it..."

NOTE: Everything I write in the P,P&M section are intended to be songs, not poetry.
