Hookah

Hi, I smoke hookah on occasion and I have talked to people asking them:

"Hey, how bad is this for you anyway?"

"Is it worse then smoking cigarettes or cigars?"

and other questions like that and every time I get varied answers.

What is your take on it?
Have there been any concrete studies done on the effects of hookah?
