Probability Of New Album?

Judging from this site: http://www.gremmie.net/bsides/guide.html (which is a great site by the way) Riot Act was tracked (recorded but not mixed) between February and May 2002. Now if that was the case (and other albums were also recorded quite quickly if you have a look) then is it possible that the rumours we heard about PJ going into the studio and Brendan O'Brien producing the next album etc. could mean they have been in the studio over the last few months?

Seeing how quickly they have worked in the past I think it's possible they could have a new album recorded by the end of April and if it is mixed and mastered within a month (not inconceivable) then a digital download could be possible for the start of June. Also if they had B-Sides from the last album it could be an even quicker process. Radiohead had pretty much just finished mixing and mastering when they released In Rainbows, there's no reason PJ can't do the same.

Anyway it was just a thought i had while reading that site... :)

    IMO, this is part of the reason they are going on the road for a minute or two.....new material being hashed out during sound checks and the creative spark being on the road creates. Feb 09...new album.

    3 of the better songs on binaural were recorded during the yield sessions. no surprise there..
