I know this is where everyone says "I believe it when the ten club tells us (right before the show)" or " they are always rumored to play everything" but you know when you saw NJ was having a fest this is what you were hoping, well time will tell.

Hey, I'll be driving the 6+ hours to get there wether PJ is there or not. We drove 1 1/2 to 2 hours in rush hour traffic to see PJ play in Boston and we live in Massachusetts. We drove 6+ hours on the spur of the moment on a Holiday weekend in '06 to see the second Camden show. Drove 1 1/2 hours to the airport, had a two hour flight, a 35 minute L train ride and about a 20 minute walk with our luggage in tow to see them (and everyone else at Lolla) in Chicago. And I'm sure many others have travelled much farther to see them.
I really hope your kidding when you're bitching about a 40 minute drive.

i wasnt crying about traveling 40 minutes, i was upset about the fact that Philly could have had there own festival, like chicago, something i have been hoping for years, and city politics had to ruin it

isn't live nation/electric factory concerts planning a festival of their own next summer? i believe that's why this one got moved.
i'm cool with two festivals, as long as pearl jam plays both of them.

Good spot matey, lets hope so.
what do you mean? Philly does have a great festival every year-its called Jam on the River.
If you haven't checked it out you are missing something special. They may not get PJ (yet) but they attract some really cool bands.
