A caffeinated, turbulent, unstoppable warp-spasm of energy
Explodes into rooms, knocking people over with embraces
Screaming their names as she pulses with radiance,
This perpetual firecracker spins out of control
I hate her
Fizzling out into coherence, her vibrant colors fading to normalcy,
The buoyant flames neutralized
She sits alone, siphoning off her excesses
Life-size, she unlocks her troubles
Speaking trustingly and quietly sobbing
I love her.
Explodes into rooms, knocking people over with embraces
Screaming their names as she pulses with radiance,
This perpetual firecracker spins out of control
I hate her
Fizzling out into coherence, her vibrant colors fading to normalcy,
The buoyant flames neutralized
She sits alone, siphoning off her excesses
Life-size, she unlocks her troubles
Speaking trustingly and quietly sobbing
I love her.
"To live,.... love,..... there's a song to be sung,....
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."
--first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- nah,... we smoke it!
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."
--first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- nah,... we smoke it!

Hinder our vocal chords
Leaving vast tunnels of silence
Echoing within us
As they struggle to break free
Oh, how we wish these words could just
Ease off the tips of our tongues
Like slippery cherry lollipops
Why must there be so much meaning attached
To these three effortless syllables
That come out so sweetly,
But are so impossible to reveal
Why can’t we just say how we
Feel without avoiding
The chilling truth hidden behind them
Those three agonizing words
I love you
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."
--first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- nah,... we smoke it!
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."
