My Island...

I dream a dream so perfect
Where we're alone and by the sea,
A dream where it's a perfect day
In island dreams of you and me.
We walk along, your hand in mine
The breeze blowing in our hair,
The warm golden sand beneath our feet
My island dream with you I share.
We come to rest beneath a tree
In the coolness of the shade,
With only gentle summer sounds
Where my island dream is made.
We feast upon exotic fruits
Drink champagne with strawberries and cream,
Everything is perfect
In my midnight island dream.
We rest embraced beneath the palms
Sheltered from the love of warm sunshine,
I'm so happy you are with me
I'm so glad this dream is mine.
We take a walk along the shore
Warm crystal waters at our toes,
It's up to me to tell my story
It's up to me where my dream goes.
The gentle waves crash to the shore
As we walk into the sea,
The water cools our sun-soaked skin
In island dreams of you and me.
The ocean looks so beautiful
As the sun glistens onto the waves,
Reminding us of diamond stars
But it's a dream of summer days.
After splashing, fun and laughter
We return onto the beach,
I'm sure that I am dreaming
But this perfection is in my reach.
Our bodies rest on the golden sand
As the sun begins to set,
Everything is perfect
In my island dream I wont forget.
The sky is now a dusky pink
The deep orange of the sun,
There is only one thing left to dream
As we two become one.
As our bodies melt together
We make love into the night,
Underneath the star-filled sky
In the warmth of clear moonlight.
With the climax of each others love
We remember our perfect day,
I know my dream is fading
There is just one thing left to say.
I know my dream is only a dream
But it's real in my heart you see,
Have you ever been to dreamland?
Would you like to go with me?
So if you would like to have a dream
The secret of what I do,
Is think of happiness, fun and love
And that's how I dream of you.
Where we're alone and by the sea,
A dream where it's a perfect day
In island dreams of you and me.
We walk along, your hand in mine
The breeze blowing in our hair,

'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."
--first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- nah,... we smoke it!

That whole poem flowed so well. I can't help, but I've been looking up different users poetry & you, by far, are one of the best in here. The words you tie together have touched my soul. Thank You!
These are the pale deaths which men miscall their lives,All this I cannot bear to witness any longer,
Cannot the kingdom of salvation,Take me home!"
