Two become One

The delicious form of love in our bones,
a trembling palace,
our half-souls
pounding on the gates
of the heart.
Yours, mine, ours.
We run into the plains without understanding
how we guessed the way, straight to the cave
where each was lying.
The heart, the flesh.
Yours, mine, ours.
We pour like a rare wine
into the ewer
of each other's heart.
Dawn walks across the plain,
a heap of earth-satin,
hyacinths for a pillow.
Twisted strands of
colored silk arching
in the sky.
We are beautiful
as two things
can only be beautiful
which flawlessly
make one whole thing.
Every part of us
seems fitted.
We are the most exact
of all balances.
The diverging paths coalesce.
What emerges is
a unique perfection.
Souls unseparated, complete.
Two beings, yet one.
Something remains, something which will not die.
The thing kept in its prison
- love wishing to be free.
It is the heart -
yours, mine, ours.
"To live,.... love,..... there's a song to be sung,....
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."

--first u sow the seed-- nature grows the seed-- then we eat the seed-- ;) nah,... we smoke it!
