A Hollow Man

A man walks through woodland on a cool breezed evening
Asking his minds faults to go away
A grown man for a man for nobody to say
Hid amongst the limb
His words turn to sobs
With pain staining his path
Plants wilt around him
As his past surrounds his sorrow
His wounds will not scab
A man in this situation
Cannot put words to mouth
So his mind controls him
Turning his body to part his mouth
Rain falls upon his lips
Salt forms liquid on his chin
Into a lasting bliss
Lost from him so far away
Days of happy things
Turn to mud in his hands
Light so bright up in front of him
But his past warps his fantasy of truth
Constant insanity clouds him
Living sucks at him
As his soul runs dry
Grim looks good to him
Living is to much of a bunny for a man
Who cannot hold his lungs with air
Or has no will to
Falling on his back
His mind numb
The ground soaking his body
His pain halts
Rain falls upon a boy
Washing away a hollow man
"To live,.... love,..... there's a song to be sung,....
'cause we may not be the Young Ones,..."

    wow

    you can envision this...good job
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

thank you depop... i ALWAYS like to hear from you as your offerings are sometimes as abundant as mine... i guess i ended up sounding like that person we pm'd about, but i love a lot of your work & i'm also a musician/artist & i truly value feedback.
