It's eleven,
Darkness of night has settled.
Yet I still lay awake
I thought to myself,
"It's still early
I'll go to sleep soon."
As I'm watching TV,
My mind wanders off into space.
It lands on a planet of nostalgia.
I remember
Just what really made me...
Smile.
And a tear
Comes from a corner
Of my eye.
Now as I look at the clock
It's 1:15.
Couldn't believe it.
Trying to lay my head
And get my long deserved sleep.
But everytime I close my eyes
I see him,
Smiling at me.
Saddness crept up on me.
All the while my own mind,
Was taunting me.
Hopefully this nightmare
Will end soon.
All I want to do
Is sleep,
And dream a good dream.
2 in the morning.
I know I want to sleep
But my mind...
My heart are at full speed.
As I close my eyes
For one last ditch effort
To get some sleep,
I see him.
My heart
Finally couldn't take it any longer.
It screamed to hear him.
Screamed to see him.
Screamed to touch him.
Screamed to be with him,
Till the day I died.
I opened my eyes
And said, "I love you"
As if he was right there,
Deep down inside,
It felt as if he was.
All I can think about,
All I can talk about,
Is him.
Can't you tell.
Life without him
Is not worth sleeping over.
