She stairs at me only through a pictures eye

So scared to get close

So many years I'v tried

Rivers so deep

Skies stretch far and wide

So scared to get close

To scraed to ask why

So I sit here in regret while she watches from a pictures eye
I'll be back

how very sad, this one brings tears to my eyes
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • very sad.. indeed....nothing man are you hanging on to a lost love?not meaning to pry but your poems are soooooooo sad..
...It's only after disaster that we can be resurrected...
it's only after you've lost everything ...that you are free to do anything....(Fight Club)

... I'll ride the wave...where it takes me....

I can see a father writing this poem. Not an ex-lover or boyfriend. I can see a dad writing it. I can see MY dad writing it. I'm probably way off the mark, but that's what's cool about poetry. We can write a poem with our own single perspective in mind, yet once it's published, every person out there can read it and see what THEY see.

    'Tis a gift.
