The rain stops dropping and the snow stops falling
And for a moment in time it’s just you and that other person
And in that moment, at that time, it feels like forever
Like floating on a cloud or butterflies in your stomach
Like a dream but better
Cause when you awake love is lying right beside you
But love can also be lost
And when that happens
Time no longer stands still
Time speeds up fast to catch up with the rest of the world
And when it does catch up, it hurts
Like a punch to the stomach
Knocks you to your knees
But of course time heals pain
And you will always have the memory of that moment when time stood still
