Hollow den

Lawless and black
the vacuum sat silent in the den....echoing
Imprinted memories, nausiosly grim, sugar coated
Lifeless light bent through the emotionless prism

They are dizzy
they are unwise
they shake and shatter dreams...
make them false

it is created then real yes?
It is to real for me and the soul I created
It hates, it creates,....it is too real
what barriers have been shaken so they do not exist
there is a list and a fog
a war..
a death
acrefully placed misplay on words
a laugh
repeat....
an echo..
a sweet sleeping giant
she is an infinate ball of clay
I cannot sculpt her nor she herself
the echos are the sculptors
see what you will...
see what you are..
I took a walk so I could curse my ass for being dumb!!!

  • Ooo, I like the way the echos are carried throughout this piece. :) I like it!
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen
  • yes, interesting. I like this one.
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

I like the rhythm and the selection of images in this poem. There's a musical sound to it. Thanks for sharing this! :)
