Wintery Car Travel (1-15-06)
Nothing but open space in the distance
Driving my car down the road
The sky appeared to be grey in this lonely place
I turned on the tunes in my car and sang along
For how long this ride seemed
I'll never forgot the memories of the feeling
Of the simple relaxation
And a satisfaction
from the communications of the world
The snow was bad to travel
Every half mile or so
Slow cars approaching me
Passing them in stress
I felt nervous recovering from my conscious
Because I almost hit head on
Not to very fond from my attitude
I finally reached towards the gymnasium
Parked cars scattered everywhere
The village nestled in the cold bleak world
Where the crows rested on the power lines
I looked at the crows closely
Thinking how they felt from the bitter wind
Because it seemed to last for several months
in this unforgiving lands
end

i like this piece, observational, simple yet grabbing, and very real in its feel.
any clues as to where this journey occurred...?
