Withering roses

Withering roses I bought you
To die in your backseat
The key to my empire
Now crumbling at your feet

I lower my head before you
Cant look into your eyes
As they are far too piercing
In the summer night skies

And I'll watch us falling
A thousand miles to ground
Tearing me to shreds
And we land without a sound

Always I think back
To what I held in hand
The heavens we traveled around in
And how hard it was to land
I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.

  • Sad and well written, Meine leibe. I really liked this verse:

    "And I'll watch us falling
    A thousand miles to ground
    Tearing me to shreds
And we land without a sound" :)
Forget your perfect offering, there is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in. - Leonard Cohen

    .....................
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key
