Rainy Days

She went searching over the horizon
Looking for her pot of gold
Found what she’s been wanting
Never to grow old

Been away from the water
The sloping hills are calling
Out here in the fields
I’ve apparently fallen

When will you realize
Vienna waits for you
When will you realize
None of this was true

Should have know this would happen
The colors were there long ago
Before my time was here
I’m simply part of the show

I can feel it coming
In the air tonight
Can you feel it?
Stage fright

Tears are rolling
Prisms a glow
I’ve been the one all along
Chasing the rainbow
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.
