The following was inspired by PJ's performance of Black in Thunder Bay.

You were standing there
I was standing there
Nothing we could do
Nothing but stare

Did I see a tear?
Or was I hiding my own?
Something better left untold
In my heart like a stone

Oh, Oh, Oh
The canvas that night was lifted
You clenched your fists
With passion that never drifted

My heart is hurting
It’s beyond the point of bleeding
Show me the way
To plant new seeding

Both spinning
The sun dropping away
The taste in my mouth
Still with me today

Can’t ever forget
The feeling of the weather
Dreamt of you feeling it
We belonged together
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.

Thank you very much. Can't say how many times Black has gotten me to sit down and write.
