A little bird once told me
Look to the future for help
But I struggle through each night
Mending the latest welt

So what else must I do
For improvement to be shown
Should I appoint another king
And sacrifice my throne

I feel that's not the answer
Rather the complete opposite
Stay strong for myself
And the candle remains lit

That fire I've mentioned before
Being drowned out by tears
Not what I ever intended
I've aged so many years

Not by given choice
Merely fate playing games
Everyone enjoys seeing
Someone experience shame
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.
