Don't call me

Those words I heard you say
“It’s been awhile”
They still won’t go away
Close my eyes till I forget the day
All the time
You brought me to my knees
Now I’m gone
You’re begging me please
I can see through you
All the times we cried
When we told the truth
When I swallowed my pride
Tomorrow will come
Yah, tomorrow will rise
Let this make sundown
Don’t let it die
All the time
We felt insecure
Feelings and thoughts
So pure….
Don’t call me when you’re down
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.
Leaving is for the answering machine.

    interesting....like it alot

    especially love the above lines
The only thing I enjoy is having no feelings....being numb rocks!

And I won't make the same mistakes
    (Because I know)
Because I know how much time that wastes
    (And function)
    Function is the key

Good read. I like this one. :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
  • i love the whole 'I love yah' thing, then, 'but stop bringing me down by only talking to me when you need a shoulder to cry on' thing at the end

It's funny how some people only notice you when they're down but you've been around all along waiting patiently. It doesn't really show but I was filled with so much anger when I wrote this. Kinda had this whole, why the fuck didn't you notice me 5 years ago? Don't call me when you're down...

yeh-but sometimes life is just that way.... i lost touch with a close friend for 3 years--called him up one day and said "hello" he knew my voice instantly-- had lunch that day and many margaritas,..been tight & solid ever since...known him 18 years now....
Put me in coach...I'm ready to
