I See

I see
Your yellowing skin
And all the pain
That it brings

I see
You scratch the surface
And the murky future
That saddening grimace

I see
Your humbleness disappear
And all your confidence
That people would cheer

I see
Your empty stares
And your dreams
That we still care

You see
My unwillingness
And my unaccepting
That you are powerless

You see
I will not cry
You see
I cannot say
Goodbye

    Thank you coachchris.
    A sad poem, touching.
« One man's glory is another man's hell.
You’re on the outside, never bound by such a spell.
Together in the darkness, alone in the light.
I took it upon me to be yours, Timmy,
I’ll lead your angels and demons at play tonight......»

I am sorry to hear you had a bad week...I hope things are better...sad but good post... :)
Our love must not be just words, but True Love, which shows itself in action,
No one needs a smile more than someone who fails to give one,
After you die...you know how to LIVE!
