My own Black tag...

Do you remember the stars that night
When seemingly all was right
We layed on your warm hood
Wishing on every one we could
That our dreams would be true
That I would forever hold you
But now it's been too long
The stars have all gone
Darkness surrounds my sky
Only to fall asleep and cry
Wishing for a single star to appear
Putting to past my worse fear
Of that precious night
When seemingly all was right
Adolescence in essence is all about trust.

I thought there was more to your story - did you edit what you originally posted?

Anyway, I can totally relate to what you wrote. I was in love with this guy for years and recently talked to him and told him how I (still) felt. (We dated in high school.) He didn't feel the same way about me, but I'm okay with it because things really aren't like they used to be. There's no way we can recreate what we once had, but he's turned out to be a really great friend that I know will always be a part of my life.

I didn't edit anything...Just listened to Black from Ottawa 05 and was inspired to try and make my own tag. Thanks for reading :)

  • Nice tag, coach! :) And it worked well what with the stars fading to black and all, nice.

    Now you're "IT"! ;)
